Material’s great, I believed it is made with real sheepskin, but need to return it, I had already brought one size up already, but still felt a bit tight, so will going to return it and buy another size (I normally wear size 8, now going to buy size 9.5)

Cute boots except they are impossible to get my foot in without a strong shoehorn and a bit of pain. I do have a high instep compared to some but I suspect many others have this problem too. Another problem is they pull my socks down into my shoe when I’m walking. A Very uncomfortable feeling I must say. I think it’s because the shoe isn’t conformed like a regular shoe in shape and it tends to slip up & down on the heal.My remedy was to remove the socks and try wearing barefoot. I didn’t think I’d like it but must admit it’s pretty cozy with all that fur inside the shoe.My regular shoe size is 7.5 and that’s what I ordered. I wouldn’t want them any shorter. My toes were in the proper location in the shoe. They are just not fitted much. They are more like a house slipper fit in width I think.

My original UGG boots are well over 10 years old and have started to show wear. This is a long time to own and wear a pair of boots. They were super comfortable and well made. When I started to look for new boots, I certainly visited UGG first. The price for the same boots I bought years ago was high, in my opinion. I came upon Mel&Syd as an alternative. The look was very similar (slightly not as high on the ankle as UGG). After reading reviews (mostly positive) I thought I would give them a try based on the price being half that of UGG. Overall, I don’t think they are as well made as my current UGG boots. They fit nice and snug by my toes, but my heel slips up and down a bit ( most reviews reported too tight). They are easier to step into vs UGG, but in the heel area I actually hear and feel the inner stiff construction of the boot pop where UGGs felt thick, soft, and snug on the heel (although a little harder to pull on). So far, I find the Mel&Syd boots a good alternative to UGG, especially for the price. I do like the color and look. Time will tell if they last as long as the UGGs.

The Mel&Syd boots are very comfortable. i wear a size 7 boot. I ordered the 7 wide to accommodate a bunion. They fit a little big but I decided that it wasn’t enough to return them. i am disappointed because they are not stain resistant as they claim to be. I dropped a canapé on one and it stained immediately. The photo used on Amazon also shows that the boots come with a removable insole liner. My boots did not have them.I would order these again due to the comfort factor and understand that if it sounds too good to be true, that the advertised qualities should be taken with a grain of salt.

The wife and daughter said good quality and price! They love their Uggs, but the MelSyd brand is impressive considering quality, fit, style and price. They both look forward to other styles being offered by this brand hopefully in the near future.

Love my sheepskin boots. I have had my other fake Uggs for years and they finally started wearing out. I decided to get a short version and after reading about this wonderful company and their backing after you buy their product, I decided to try their boots. They are so soft! They are true to size! The only thing is the top edge might be a little uncomfortable if you are used to a full size boot as I was, but I believe they will get looser after they are broken in. Plus, the company backs up your purchase if you have any questions. I am overall very pleased with my purchase! I would give a 5 star but I’m not quite sure yet. You can also order wool liners from the company if you want to replace your other liners in your other boots and that is a fabulous concept! Great PR in my opinion! Mom and Pop companies are what I always look for and I would rather work with one like them!
